December 11

Shorts stories:

Signs of the times:

Weekend gay romance

LIFETIME TV network:

Real-life married couple Blake Lee (Parks and Recreation) and Ben Lewis (Arrow, The Handmaid's Tale) star in Lifetime's first LGBTQ+ Christmas movie, The Christmas Setup, which premieres tomorrow, December 12, at 8 EST/7C. The director is Pat Mills, an openly gay Canadian screenwriter, director and actor. Actors Lee and Lewis recount that their real-life romance began in 2010 when they met randomly in a restroom at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the premiere of a film that costarred Blake Lee. When he returned to his seat, Blake jokingly told his friend, "I just met the man I'm going to marry -- at the urinal."

PARAMOUNT network:

Out gay actors Peter Porte (Young and the Restless) and Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House) star in Dashing in December, which premieres Sunday, December 13, at 7/6c. The plot features an NYC businessman (Porte) returning to his rural hometown for the holidays. He meets an enticing employee (Pace) of the family ranch, so it's sort of a gay cowboy story. That's all you need to know.

This movie will be simulcast on Logo, Pop and TV Land.

  1. I'll probably check out both movies when they become available. Especially the Fran Drescher one. 👏🏻
