Hangovers ahead
(it's that time of year)
Hungover, a recently
published book about hangover prevention, deals with deactivating the worst
aspects of a hangover -- nausea, headache, body pain. Author Shaughnessy
Bishop-Stall offers a simple cure, and all the ingredients are available at pharmacies
or online.
Here goes. To prevent
hangover, ingest – after drinking, but before sleeping – milk thistle (for the
liver), N-acetylcysteine (the amino acid and immune system aid), vitamins B1,
B6 and B12 (a metabolism booster), and frankincense (an anti-inflammatory).
