 Prime Minister of Hungary Knows TINDER

45-year-old Péter Magyar, the newly-elected Prime Minister of Hungary (Tisza party), has endorsed Hungary Pride 2026, a celebration slated for June 27. Former Prime Minister Orbán’s government outlawed Hungary Pride 2025; however, Budapest’s mayor sponsored and hosted a significant rally of defiance, resulting in +150,000 participants attending one of Hungary’s largest anti-government demonstrations. Orbán’s regime subsequently called off the prosecution of attendees.

Magyar has since challenged the current president Sulyok (Fidesz party and an Orbán regime holdover) to stop obsessing about “gay things” and should “get out of the bedrooms of Hungarians”. Sulyok adamantly opposes any gay rights and fails to keep his mouth shut in expressing opposition to them. Apparently Magyar knows all about TINDER, since he commented in an address to the national assembly that “all you care about is who swipes left on Tinder. You obsess about what leather men dream about”. Magyar has demanded Sulyok’s resignation, which he refused to do. Magyar is initiating legal action to force his removal. Note: the position of president is largely a ceremonial role, but the president may veto legislation or send legislation to the Constitutional Court for review.
