Spring Horse Trials

As my regular readers know, I live among horse enthusiasts - "Hunt Country", as this part of northern Virginia is called by locals.

In Leesburg this weekend about 200 rider-and-horse teams competed in dressage, show jumping and cross-country events.

Tailgate fare:

On both days enthusiastic crowds cheered them on in unseasonably warm weather.

 

Gay actor Richard Chamberlain dead at age 90

Richard Chamberlain died in Hawaii on March 29, 2025, from complications of a stroke.
