On this day in 1874 the "bike jockey" athletic supporter was born.
Originally intended for use by bicycle delivery boys in Chicago,
its use started to wane during the 1990s.
However, gay men still continue to fetishize it.
The "BIKE" brand #10 jockstrap
has sold well over 350,000,000 units.
