 Dudes in denim:

Star of multiple Hallmark Movies:

Ryan Paevey

Mr. Paevey is a former construction worker and bartender

transformed into an in-demand actor/model.

He has appeared in 13 Hallmark movies.

Christmas at the Plaza is sure to be aired

dozens of times between now and the end of the year.

Better than a slice of pumpkin pie.

Yum.

Ryan Paevey is not the only model

who can fill out a pair of jeans.

Pietro Boselli is another example.

I offer a photo of Pietro in denim.

He gets bonus points for no tattoos,

no facial hair and a killer tan line.

To wit:

This Italian stud holds a PhD in mechanical engineering

and was a mathematics lecturer at University College London.

As if we care!

 Harry Styles

Currently in limited release, MY POLICEMAN has garnered lurid publicity, for the most part related to the casting of English pop-star Harry Styles as Tom Burgess, a policeman who is in relationships with both a man and a woman. The movie is Styles’s first starring vehicle. Reviews have not been favorable. While the film is based on a 2012 novel by Bethan Roberts, the plot mirrors the real-life circumstances of English writer E. M. Forster, who fell in love with a married policeman; they remained lovers for the rest of their lives.

Several splendid films have been made of the novels of Forster (1879-1970), most notably Maurice. Forster was a close friend of the socialist poet-philosopher Edward Carpenter. A  visit to Carpenter and his younger lover George Merrill in 1913 inspired Forster's novel Maurice, which is partly based on them. It is a love story about repressed homosexual desire deemed unpublishable during Forster’s lifetime, especially after the persecution of Oscar Wilde. A fine film of this novel was made by Merchant-Ivory Productions and released in 1987.

Other Forster novels that served as the basis for award-winning films are A Room with a View, Howard’s End, and A Passage to India. Make an effort to read the novels and see all the films. You can thank me later.
