returns donations from lobbyists

Pete Buttigieg (b. 1982, Democrat), the first openly gay candidate seeking nomination in a U.S. presidential election, has stated that his campaign will not accept money from federal lobbyists, corporate PACS or representatives of the fossil fuel industry. To that end, his campaign manager Mike Schmuhl (above) announced $30,250 in donations from 39 individuals has been returned.

Schmuhl went to high school with Buttigieg, ran his mayoral campaigns and served as his chief of staff in South Bend, Indiana. Schmuhl, also in his thirties, earned a masters degree at the Paris Institute of International Studies.

“Christian” evangelist and irrepressible political commentator Franklin Graham, son of noted evangelist Billy Graham (deceased), reacted to Pete Buttigieg’s blending of Christianity and open homosexuality with comments such as, “Buttigieg will suffer eternal damnation if he does not repent from his flaunting homosexuality”. Graham’s Facebook post ended with his citing a biblical verse that calls for murdering homosexuals (Leviticus 20:13). Yet Graham has previously stated that he has no qualms with Trump’s numerous adulterous affairs. “This thing with Stormy Daniels and so forth is nobody’s business.”

Oh, the hypocrisy of the Christian right. As a teenager Franklin Graham was expelled from a private Christian high school. In 1970 he was expelled from a Texas "Christian" college. Only the best "Christian" behavior. These days Graham is a supporter of conversion therapy and opposes same-sex marriage. He also stated that “God” played a role in Trump’s being elected as the U.S. president. Right.

Graham went on to wish Melania Trump a happy birthday, calling her “the classiest first lady our country has ever had.” I provide photographic evidence to the contrary. Not even mentioning the nude lesbian photo spreads.
