Charlie Carver
Gay actor Charlie Carver (b. 1988), best known for his roles in Teen Wolf and Desperate Housewives, also has a straight brother, Max, his identical twin. Charlie was born on July 31 in San Francisco, and twin brother Max was born seven minutes later, on the next calendar day, August 1. Weird.
As an acting team the Carver twins have fueled many an erotic fantasy, but Charlie went solo in Dustin Lance Black’s 2017 TV miniseries “When We Rise” (aired in February and March) about the history of the gay rights movement. Charlie came out as gay last year, and the British gay magazine Attitude named Charlie its Bachelor of the Year 2017. But you knew all that.
Weirder still. In a just-published interview with Attitude magazine (June 2017 issue), Charlie revealed that his father, Robert Mortensen, came out to him as gay when Charlie was twelve years old. Charlie recounts that his father’s sexual orientation helped him deal with his own. “I think he taught me, in the way that he lived his life, that your sexuality doesn’t define you.”
Now here’s the tricky part. Can you tell them apart?
