December 29

Just because:

Remembering Charlottesville

Trivia: Mr. Christopher Plummer, who turned 88 on December 13,
was the last minute replacement for disgraced actor
Keven Spacey in the film "All the Money in the World."
When Plummer came aboard in November,
the Ridley Scott film had already been completed.
A release date had originally been scheduled for December 22.
All of Mr. Spacey's scenes were reshot in several weeks,
and the movie opened on Christmas Day.

Plummer's excellent memoir, "In Spite of Myself"
is a pleasurable read.
