With a side of jockstraps:

Drool-worthy straight man:

Kerry Degman

An in-demand model from Iowa, Kerry was a two-year undefeated wrestler in high school and a  baseball player. He was recruited to play college baseball, but a knee injury halted his career in sports. Next up was a career in modeling. He never gave up dabbling in sports, however. The skateboard you sometimes see with Kerry in his shots? Not a prop. “My mom made me promise never to ride one, but I’ve done it since the 3rd grade. It’s a good way to keep a kid with ADD busy.”

His first major modeling shoot was with Bruce Weber for Abercrombie & Fitch. In his off time he golfs, longboards, plays with his dog and strums guitar. Kerry is also a country music singer with an album. “The Lake”: kerrydegmanmusic.wordpress.com. But why stop there? His eventual goal is to become an actor, and he recently snagged the lead role in “The Five Sullivans,” a post-Afghanistan family drama (Grandiosity Films). His original music will be included in the film.

The other main focus of Kerry’s attention is his adorable beabull (half beagle, half English bulldog). “It’s like having a child,” Kerry said of the 10-month old pup. “I have had Jackson his entire life, and he is the best thing that ever happened to me*. I never like being anywhere without him. And he was born in Iowa, just like me.” Midwesterners like to stick together.

*Kerry has since married and has a son named Wolfgang, so priorities have changed a bit. These days he makes his home in Tennessee, all the better to pursue his country music career.

So just kiss me...
